New York State Governor Debate/Comedy Show

This was more like a comedy show than a real debate. Jimmy McMillan kept the crowd going by starting and ending is statement with "Rent Is Too Damn High" which is also the party he is representing for the run for New York State governor. Ex Madam Kristin Davis also one of the 7 candidates for New York State governor made some jabbing comments towards Carl Paladino as you will see in the video. On a more serious note Carl Paladino and Andrew Cuomo the main focus of this election kept it calm and collective throughout the debate.

The View Fights Off Radical Republican Bill O'Reilly!

Most of you know about the dilemma of the Mosque being constructed close to ground zero. Well the topic was brought up again on The View and let's just say it got very heated in there. So much that Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar ending up leaving and coming back after Bill O'Reilly apology to any Muslim he offended.


On a much personal note I am very proud of Joy and Whoopi for standing and leaving after listening to the craziness Bill was saying.

BlackBerry World

After months of speculation that Research in Motion (RIM) was developing a new tablet to compete with the Apple's iPad it seems the rumor was true, according to two people that know about the plans. RIM is planning to introduce the tablet called "Blackpad" this coming November and RIM has acquired the rights to blackpad.com this moth.  The Blackpad is roughly the same dimension as the iPad with a 9.7 inch diagonal screen and the cost of the Blackpad is said to start at $499 just like the iPad . The Blackpad would come with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technology that will allow Internet to connect through their BlackBerrys. This led RIM stock to gain 3.3% to $57.53.

RIM will also be introducing the new BlackBerry 9800 Slider this Tuesday in Manhattan. The Slider is a touch screen phone that will feature a Qwerty keyboard giving users a choice. Hopefully the Slider will be able to regain and bring back up RIM market shares.

Spain Wins The World Cup

The winning golden kick by Andres Iniesta that help Spain win The 2010 FIFA World Cup. The game was played hard by both team with kicking, tripping, grabbing and even pushing for the ball. This hard played by the two teams brought a lot of yellow flags and even a red one toward the end of the game to one of the players in the Netherlands team. I must say both team had great goalkeeping, which really made this a harder and made the game longer. At the end Spain won 1-0, so with this I say Congrats! to Spain on their first win in The World Cup.

This clothing line consist of consist of T-shirts, polo's, sweatshirts, knits, denim, suits and shirts; outerwear, hats, sneakers, underwear, socks and accessories. Due to the limited quantities it produced the clothing are sold for high prices. Billionaire Boys Club (BBC) is manufacture in Japan and is made with great quality. I must say that I wasn't a fan of the clothing line but as the years gone by this brand has matured and has created what I like to call street preppy for anyone who like to express themself in an artistic and fun way.

The New York Hollister store in SoHo has been taken over by bedBUGS. This bedbug problem was first reported 3 WEEKS ago by a manager and an employee but Hollister didn't do anything to stop the problem. Then after weeks pass by and employees began to have bug bites. The bugs was also seen on a piece of clothing by an employee. Hollister then took action to close the store until the problem was fixed. The worse part is that customers who shopped there might have carried the bedbugs home.

The Worst Company of 2010

There was always something about British petroleum (BP) that always made me feel like they were a better oil company. Their green and yellow, clean and simple logo made them seem more environmentally cautious of the planet. Everything changed on April 20, 2010 when the offshore drilling rig in the Gulf of Mexico exploded kill 11 people. Too BP defense they are taking responsibility (in some part) and said it will pay out any damages done to the people and states that are affected. What may bring some fear is that the company may go bankrupt if the U.S government doesn't go gentle on them.

Lady Gaga - Alejandro

As an artist you must always reinvent yourself and no one does it better then the already iconic Lady Gaga and her new music video Alejandro. The Alejandro video has a Gothic theme to it with very erotic choreograph. One thing that may catch your eyes is that this is a all male back-up dancer doing feminine dancing moves on high heels but it's another way that Lady Gaga gets people attention to view her art. Through all the dancing and the different costumes Lady Gaga wears in the video you can pick up the message she is try to broadcast threw the video. Although this video is a little controversial, an artist is not an artist without controversy.

The Summer Shoe = Boat Shoe

The summer shoe without a doubt about it goes to the boat shoes. This boat shoe has a classical look to them with a comfort that you wouldn't be able to tell just by seeing them. Many brand have their own version and different style and twist to the boat shoe. What I make's these shoe unique is the fact that everyone can own one from young to old and from male to females. Since I own a pair of Sperry Top-Sider, what I most like from it is that you can wear it with jeans or pants. You also cannot beat the comfort it gives your feet. They tend to look better when worn without socks or socks that does not show.

Preppy America

If you paid close attention to last summer style you could have most definitely predicted what trends was coming for spring/summer 2010. This trend is what I like to call "Preppy America". This is a reflection of early 1900's America but with a more edgy and younger look to it. You will see younger people dressing up and putting away the t-shirt and changing it for a shirt. You will also be seeing a change in short for this summer; many are now changing their jean short for cotton or linen fabric shorts. The reason is not because it a lighter fabric or because it keeps you cooler in the summer, which is a plus but as a result of looking more preppy and modern and still obtain that cleaner look with you. Whether or not this trend survives for next year is definitely a trend I would love to keep.

Creative Recreation has come along way since it's fall 2002 launch.
