If you paid close attention to last summer style you could have most definitely predicted what trends was coming for spring/summer 2010. This trend is what I like to call "Preppy America". This is a reflection of early 1900's America but with a more edgy and younger look to it. You will see younger people dressing up and putting away the t-shirt and changing it for a shirt. You will also be seeing a change in short for this summer; many are now changing their jean short for cotton or linen fabric shorts. The reason is not because it a lighter fabric or because it keeps you cooler in the summer, which is a plus but as a result of looking more preppy and modern and still obtain that cleaner look with you. Whether or not this trend survives for next year is definitely a trend I would love to keep.Tuesday, June 1, 2010
