There was always something about British petroleum (BP) that always made me feel like they were a better oil company. Their green and yellow, clean and simple logo made them seem more environmentally cautious of the planet. Everything changed on April 20, 2010 when the offshore drilling rig in the Gulf of Mexico exploded kill 11 people. Too BP defense they are taking responsibility (in some part) and said it will pay out any damages done to the people and states that are affected. What may bring some fear is that the company may go bankrupt if the U.S government doesn't go gentle on them.
